Within the special international workshops Garciaferro we find the photography workshop in Canada. This workshop will consist mainly of nature photography within the Banff and Jasper National Parks which will allow us to enter the emblematic regions, where we will find elements such as lakes, rivers, pines and the most impressive mountain structures. A very special element in the workshop will be the green tapestries of pines and trees that extend throughout the workshop giving a particular and subtle beauty to each photograph.

Likewise, we will visit urban regions in the middle of nature, contrasting the difference and allowing the photograph of the fusion of both opposing elements, thus combining the rural with the urban.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

CAMERA

It must be an interchangeable lens camera. Preferably a recent fully manual operation, regardless of whether it is low or intermediate range. Since we will use a wide range of camera functions, we recommend having sufficient prior knowledge of it to avoid problems with the settings.

LENSES

Within the workshop we cover both telephone and wide angle ends. It is recommended to get large angles (14 to 20 mm) for the entire night landscape. In the same way, an average telephoto (70 to 400 mm) is recommended for the fauna that we can find within the National Parks. GIVEN TO THE ACTIVITY OF THE BOREAL AURORAS WE CONSIDER THE INDISPENSABLE WIDE ANGLE.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Because it is high season, services must be anticipated well in advance. In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be refundable. It can be transferable with an administrative charge of 20%, all this up to 15 days before the event.

If the event were canceled due to causes beyond our control, such as adverse weather issues or insecurity events at the location, the workshop date will be re-scheduled to a convenient date for both parties.
